What were you doing before you came to Spirit Studios?
Before I came to Spirit Studios I was doing a whole host of things, I’ve worked as a professional recording engineer, producer, arranger and as a session musician.
How did you get into Audio Engineering?
In terms of teaching here at Spirit, I was given the final year of the industry course in 2007
Any special areas of interest?
I’m really interested in anything studio production, mastering or orchestral arranging.
What’s your proudest career achievement?
I have so many it’s very difficult to choose. Maybe being nominated and winning an Ampex Gold Reel Award for the 1 million copies selling album ‘Wonderful life’ by Black is one of my many achievements.
What do you get up to outside of teaching?
I work professionally as a producer, engineer, musician and writer. I also holiday a lot!

What’s your favourite album/artist?
I’ve not got one! I just listen to whatever I’m feeling at the time.
