Oxford Road

Although it isn’t necessarily considered a student area, Oxford Road is on the doorstep of Manchester’s best nightlife scenes. Located on the periphery of the city centre, it is a busy area with an abundance of activity for students who want to be centred in the heart of Manchester. 

Music venues like The 02 Ritz and the 02 Academy are close by, and with such easy access to the main central districts, you’ll be in close proximity to all the shops, restaurants and bars you need to maximise your student experience. 

As with any central location, expect prices for student halls or private accommodation rooms to be increased in comparison to the Fallowfield and Rusholme areas.
