Clearing at Spirit Studios is now open. There’s never been a better time to study your passion and join the music and audio industries.

Clearing gives you another opportunity to find a place at university for September 2026. Through Clearing universities can only make unconditional offers and you need all your results to apply for a course. If you have your results, you can start your search by viewing our courses avaliable through Clearing below and contact us on 0161 276 2118. If you have outstanding results, you can call us from 9am on Thursday, 13 August 2026.

How to apply through Clearing, if you’ve already made an application through UCAS

If you’re already registered with UCAS, you can simply add one of our courses to your UCAS Track. You’ll know you’re eligible for Clearing if your application status says ‘You are in Clearing’ or ‘Clearing has started.’ If you decline your firm place, your application status will automatically change to Clearing.

You’ll need your results to apply through Clearing, and you cannot use it if you already hold an offer from a university. In order to apply through Clearing you’ll need to decline your offer/place before you can apply. However, it is important that there is a place for you on your preferred course elsewhere, so chat with the university you’re interested in first to make sure they’d accept you.

Applying directly through Clearing

If you are applying directly through Clearing (applying for the first time) you’ll first need to register with UCAS and make an application. When applying through Clearing you’ll only be able to add a course choice after you’ve submitted your application. Once you’ve applied UCAS will send you a Welcome email, with details of how to access your application as well as your Clearing number. If you’re applying direct to Clearing for the 2026 cycle after 30 June, you have the option to upload supporting information to your application via UCAS’ document upload service. Things to remember

As a partner campus for the University of Lancashire, you’ll find that our courses are listed as a University of Lancashire course, but state that it’s to be delivered at Spirit Studios.

To ensure you apply for the correct course at our campus, you’ll need the individual course code, institute code and our campus code which can all be found next to the course descriptions on our course pages.
