Project Suite.
A simple to use and flexible facility, with plenty of space to utilise the vast array of equipment we have in our sign-out equipment stock.
With a small analogue console and no patch bay, our Project Suite gives students complete flexibility in how this facility is configured. They could sign-out drum machines and synthesisers from our sign-out equipment stock and route them directly into the computer via the audio interface. Alternatively, they could connect them to the analogue mixer, utilise the outboard dynamic controllers and effects, and then route a stereo mix of a live performance to the computer. There’s also plenty of space at the back of the room to bring in larger equipment, such as an extra pair of monitors for multi-channel audio projects, a DJ set up, a stage piano, an electronic drum kit and more.
It’s also ideal for lessons taking place in Mac Suites 4 and 5. Just across the corridor, the Project Suite can act as a secondary room, facilitating any hands-on exercises that would benefit from taking place in a studio environment.
