Replicating an ideal home studio setup, our Edit Suites are perfect for those tasks and projects where you don't need a full studio.
The original intention for our Edit Suites was to create practical spaces that ease the burden on our recording studios. Why use your credits to book a recording studio when all you need to do is tune a vocal or tighten up a drum recording? Our Edit Suites cost fewer credits than our studios, meaning you can access significantly more studio time when booking the appropriate facility for each task in hand.
Over the years, however, our Edit Suites have grown into excellent facilities in their own right. They’re often described by our students as the perfect home studio setup. Centered around an Apple Mac Studio workstation with all the same software available in our studios, you can seamlessly relocate between facilities and retain all your plug-ins and settings.
We’ve installed an Avid Artist Mix for fader control of Pro Tools and Logic Pro, an Ableton Push 2 and a 61-key Komplete Kontrol series MIDI keyboard. High quality audio interfaces and monitors are also available. And for the icing on the cake, we designed the furniture in collaboration with Studio People to create a comfortable, ergonomic and expandable environment.
As they still require fewer credits to book than our studios, our Edit Suites remain some of our most popular facilities.
