By the end of this course, you will have the experience of running a studio recording session and have unlocked core skills for starting your journey as an engineer or producer.
Overview
Taught in one of our industry-standard recording studios, this course is perfect for anyone aged 14-18 with an interest in working within a creative studio environment as recording engineer or producer in the future.
This session will introduce you to the role of a Recording Engineer, industry standard recording techniques, operating both analogue and digital studio equipment as well as exploring the fundamentals of running a successful studio recording session. The session will cover:
- The Role of a Recording Engineer
- Mixing Desk Overview/Audio Signal Flow
- Microphone Variations/Recording Techniques
- Analogue and Digital workflow
- Studio Maintenance & Session Management
