While studying our Electronic Music and DJ Practice degree (now BA (Hons) Electronic Music Production and Performance), Niall was performing gigs around Manchester – something that he has continued to pursue – landing regular residencies in some of the city’s most renowned venues including Victoria Warehouse, Gorilla and Antwerp Mansion. Niall has also played at a number of festivals, most recently a hugely successful set at Parklife in the summer of 2022. His DJ career has also seen him travel across the world. In 2018 he took to the grand stand for a series of sets at the Singapore Grand Prix, at one point playing to 26,000 people.

Niall also works as a freelance facilitator/project manager at Reform Radio, helps an online talent booking agency and founded his own musical imprint ‘Do As You Please‘. Do As You Please has gone from strength to strength with a cohort of standout nights at Distrikt, as well as sell-out events at YES, Joshua Brooks and Eastern Bloc.
As one of Manchester’s most promising young artists, he’s gained radio play on BBC Radio One by Jaguar, as well as recording a live stream for globally acclaimed festival We Out Here.
Spirit, for me, was a base with industry-standard studios and live equipment. I could get in where I wanted, when I wanted and have staff available when I needed help.
