Spirit Studios x Studio88 Partnership: Connecting music revolutionaries.

Our C|24 Studio has had quite the makeover, and it’s all thanks to our exciting new partnership with Studio88. Our mission? To connect and grow Manchester’s grassroots music network.

By providing a world-class studio at an affordable rate, this collaboration will improve access to the creative industries and music education for the next generation of producers, artists and sound engineers.

And our students are at the heart of it. We’re introducing a new work experience scheme, seeing students working on the commercial recording sessions Studio88 are bringing to the C|24. Responsible for preparing the studio and hosting artists, this is fantastic opportunity for students to network and get even more practical experience under their belt.

Who are Studio88?

Studio88 is a local multi-genre project recording studio, Production House and creative community. They specialise in music production, media production, artists management, development and promotion.

Studio upgrades

Over the past few months we’ve made some dramatic changes to the C|24 studio. We’ve created a premium space where emerging talent can get used to working in high-end studios, helping Manchester’s up-and-comers get their foot in the door.

We’ve curated the space to be as comforting as possible to let your creativity truly shine. With soft furnishings, a drinks fridge, and customisable LED lighting, this premium studio will feel like a home-away-from-home.

But it’s not all bells and whistles. We’ve added a new Quested SB10R subwoofer for the main monitors, a Neve 1073 Preamp, TL Audio Dual Valve Compressor and Antares Auto-Tune Pro X – allowing for pitch correction in real time. 

Whether you’re a podcast enthusiast, a mixing engineer or the next breakthrough artist, we’re inviting you to join our creative community. This is a studio for everyone.

How can I book out the studio?

To hire out the C|24, all you need to do is send a DM to @studio88mcr.premium on Instagram with details of what type of session you’re looking for and when. The studio is available Thursday and Friday evenings, and all day on Saturdays and Sundays.
