S6 Suite.
Designed primarily with audio post production in mind; our S6 Suite is home to a 24-Channel Avid S6 control surface and an Exigy 7.1 surround sound monitoring system.
A fantastic teaching space as well as the perfect mixing environment, our S6 Suite allows you to experiment with the latest industry-standard control surface and work with stereo, 5.1 and 7.1 surround audio formats. We were proud to be the first educator in the UK to install the Avid S6 console.
A meticulous attention can be seen to every detail in this facility. Our centre channel speaker is positioned behind an acoustically transparent projector screen and the projector is completely isolated from the room, meaning no noise or heat it generates will affect your session.
Exigy spent three days on-site tuning the monitoring system with the room to ensure any mixes are translate accurately, whether they are listened to on headphones or on the big screen.
The motorised camera and a picture-in-picture switch enable our tutors to display the operation of the S6 console and the audio project on the projector screen simultaneously.
Other advanced-level studios include Spirit Studio and Mastering Studio.
